So I recently had my first official job as a stringer for the Leader Times (local newspaper in Kittanning) and my first assignment was a pretty cool one.  I was asked to cover the concert in Kittanning Park.  A Jazz band from New Orleans was invited to come up and play and they packed the place.  But onto the topic of the post, I had three pictures from the concert on the front page of the paper which was really cool to see my name and photos on the front page of a newspaper.  I have been on the front page of the Valley News Dispatch before but it was a thumbnail basically and wasn’t the “headline” photo.  So check out the photo below.

It was a busy weekend but now time for a really busy week.  I covered a class reunion on Saturday which was a first and went pretty well.  This week is going to be busy and fun, it’s time to start working on the studio and I’m going to work on a new outdoor prop as well as try and get rid of some groundhogs that keep eating my flowers…such annoying creatures.  Anyway I hope that there are actually some people that will be reading this because I plan on updating it quite frequently with current jobs I’m working on as well as kind of letting everyone know my schedule and what exactly is going on at the studio.  So if you are reading this take care and have a nice week
